Thomas is a distinguished professional with a career spanning over two decades in executive sales and marketing, primarily within a leading telecom group in Vietnam. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), which he earned in 1996. He subsequently obtained his Advanced Accounting certification from Bow Valley College in 2017 Thomas specializes in a wide range of tax topics important to Canadian small businesses, including GST/HST, capital gains exemption, regulatory compliance laws.
Phi is a fellow member of ACCA (UK), i.e. FCCA as well as CPA (VN) and member of the Vietnam Tax Consultants’ Association (VTCA). He also holds an MBA degree from International American University, CA (USA). Phi has over 19 years of professional advisory and accounting experience, including 9 years working for Big 4 in Vietnam. Phi specializes in wide range of areas including advisory, consultancy on all tax laws, M&A, tax and financial due diligence, legal and regulatory frameworks for foreign investment incorporation, market entry in Vietnam, IFRS and Vietnamese enterprise accounting system related issues.
Mahnaz Salehi is a seasoned tax specialist and accountant with a decade-plus track record. Before SYNCAPRO, Mahnaz’s finance career kicked off at KPMG in Tehran, leading a 65-person team and driving a 9% cost reduction over two years. She further honed her skills at ArC Consultants Ltd and volunteered with the Canada Revenue Agency, assisting low-income families with taxes. Known for her detailed financial analysis and risk management, Mahnaz is also a mentor, training newcomers to excel in finance. Her work exemplifies a blend of expertise, leadership, and community service.
